Be Ready

“Our gifts are ours to develop and use, but right stewardship of them means being ready to put them at God’s disposal. If someone calls for a person who can play well, or speak well, or write well, or design well, or listen well, or teach well, or who can design good software, we may not determine whether we’re the one God will choose for a particular mission, but we can be available. Our job is to do well what we do and be ready when the invitation comes.”
