Corn Flakes with John Lennon

Right now I'm reading – and LOVING – Robert Hilburn's Corn Flakes with John Lennon: And Other Tales from a Rock 'n' Roll Life. Hilburn, who was music editor at the Los Angeles Times for over three decades, has written wonderful biographies of Johnny Cash and Paul Simon. In this book, he writes about his own life in relation to some of the greatest artists of the twentieth century: Elvis, Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2. And yeah, John Lennon eats corn flakes. Bono prefers ice cream and hot fudge cake.
